Biography
Amir joined the Centre for HCI Design in October 2007 as a Researcher and is working on the APOSDLE project as lead User Experience designer as well as working on commercial projects providing various consultancy services. His work includes conducting usability evaluations, user research and requirements elicitation, information architecture and interaction design. Amir has a BA (Hons) in Multimedia Arts from Middlesex University and an M.Sc. in Human-Centred Systems from City University. He taught HCI and web development as part of an undergraduate interactive media course (2003-2009) and prior to that worked as a web developer. His main interests include usability, social aspects of computing and cross-cultural design.
