Biography

Ursula joined the Centre as a PhD student in October 2001. She is supervised by Steph Wilson and Helen Sharp. Her PhD topic concerns navigational design issues in educational electronic texts and she is currently undertaking experimental studies to investigate this. She graduated from the University of Leeds in 2000 with a BSc in Cognitive Science. After graduating she worked as an analyst in a management consultancy for six months, and then went on to do contract work until starting the PhD.
